Paris, the city of love, sophistication & style...

My amazing boyfriend suprised me with a trip to Paris just before Christmas last year. I had no idea where I was going, I was told to pack a suitcase and be ready for 5pm. So I thought I would share with you some photies of our trip. Hopefully you will also be inspired to catch a flight to Paris and explore all the beauty the city has to offer...

We explored the bustling, bright Christmas markets on the Champs Elysees. Taking a stroll past busy market stalls selling everything from colourful ceramic plates to glistening sticky donuts.

As well as taking in all the sights and sounds of the Christmas markets, nothing could distract from the excitement our noses were experiencing. The smell of beautiful, deep smokey meats drifted down the streets from the huge vats of mouthwatering stews, with notes of sweet chocolate and candyfloss cutting through the powerful aroma, escaping from the dainty candy stalls dotted around the roadside.

We took a lengthy stroll through the beautiful Parisian streets, heading from the Champs Elysees to the Eiffel Tower. Take note of all the little bistros you wander past with their delicate pastries and cakes. Gaze in admiration at the cute apartments that you pass.

The icon of romance and sophistication - The Eiffel Tower.Standing tall and proud, looking down on the beautiful city beneath it. The grounds at the foot of the tower were perfecting for lazing around and taking in the sights, mainly of tourists huddling around excitedly trying to get the best picture of them and the tower.

 The metro system is the perfect way to get around Paris, a few euros can give you a day-pass of unlimited exploration around the city.

We got off the Metro at “Blanche” as we wanted to explore the seedier, sexier side of the City. We explored the area around the infamous setting of the Moulin Rouge in the Quartier Pigalle. Nicknamed “Pig Alley” by Allied soldiers, due to its raunchy reputation and numerous sex shops.  My boyfriend then surprised me with tickets for the evening show at the Moulin Rouge!

Before heading back to the hotel to get ready for our night at the Moulin Rouge, we headed over to the Basilique de Sacre-Coeur. Here we climbed up to the summit and took in the breathtaking sights of the Paris skyline...

 Being a huge fan of the film "The Moulin Rouge" it was great to be able to take a seat in the place where the story began. The Bal Du Moulin Rouge is grand and expensive, for a few hours you are transformed into a Parisian aristocrat, glugging down champagne as you enjoy an iconic show full of raunchiness, nudity, hundreds of costume changes and amazing, beautiful dancers.

.FAVOURITE FRAGRANCES.

What are your favourite fragrances? & why do you love them?I have a favourite fragrance "Top 3" . Signature perfumes I always find myself buying again and again. I love to wear a perfume that receives compliments, that makes me feel sexy and a perfume that smells so unique that people can associate with it with MOI.

One of my favourite perfumes is elle by YSL, Yves Saint Laurent.
I first noticed this scent while visiting a friend in Dubai. Here I noticed that all the majestic Arabic women drifiting by were leaving behind delicate wafts of floral and Freesia. My friend explained that elle by YSL is very popular with Arabic women and that was the beautiful fragrance I was discovering.....

I am ALWAYS getting complimented on this orietnal vanilla based fragrance. Heavenly enough to wear through the day- yet also seductive enough to wear through into the night. If you have not already bought or experienced this fragrance then I really urge you to test it. Some of my friends find the vanilla scent in this fragrance far too over powering, but I love it as I like wearing something that will get me noticed and lasts throughout the day. This fragrance still smells gorgeous after a long hard shift at work and the patients are always complimenting me on the perfume.

Vivienne Westwood is one of my all time favourite designers, so this fragrance is perfect for those who love the sexy sophisticated designs from the lady herself. Alluring and enchanting this fragrance is so feminine and oozes vintage glamour. The bottle looks beautiful on my dressing room table too and I love the orb lid!                                                                                       "Boudoir, a chypre-floral fragrance for women, is present since 1998. It is dedicated to a feminine and strong woman, with accentuated sexuality. Never underestimate the power of ebay.


It was my sister who started my ebay shoe obsession. Every other week a parcel containing beautiful shoes would arrive for her and I would always be amazed when she told me she had purchased them from ebay. I was always even more amazed by the price!
Just click the "Fashion" category on the ebay home page, followed by "women's shoes" and away you go!
Theres always so much choice and you will be amazed at what you can get for your money! My personal favourites are the copy-cat Christian Louboutins with the signature red soles.

A favourite with celebs such as Jessie J and Lady Gaga - lip tattoos are another way to shock through the power of make-up :)

So, just like the nail wraps, for me the most difficult bit is cutting the stencils to the correct shape. (I am a bit of a klutz) but once that is sorted, the rest is a piece of cake!
