EYE EYE!

I was sorting through the endless amounts of photo files I have on my laptop and came across some of my eye make-up designs and thought I would share them with you.
Make-up is a huge passion of mine and although I currently have to tone it down for work (boo!) I still love practising bright and beautiful techniques.....

My favourite shadows to use for bright and bold eyes are the neon range by "Stargazer" now commonly found in New Look stores!
Neon Orange and yellows blend well together to create the perfect "sunset stare"

The prettiful Stargazer pots:
BarryM have some excellent Glitter pots and stacks that work well mixed into vaseline. blend under the lower area of the eye, just above the cheek or into the corner of the eye for sparkly peepers.

"EYE CAN SEE YOOOOU!":

The above is one of my favourite looks. Combine Eylure "Tokyo" lashes- IM YUKO style, with BarryM eye crayon in Green and finished of with a smudging of MAC pigment in gold. Smudge the pigment on the upper and lower part of the eye to give a "widening" effect and to paint a backdrop for those wonderful IM YUKO lashes!
Of course, the look is topped off with sexy vintage eye flicks!

(Above) These are some other examples of the Neon range by Stargazer! The pink looks so alluring smeared and blended under the eye. The perfect eye wear for raving!

Eylure now have their own range of upper & lower lash range to perfect that "startled-deer" wide-eyed look, made famous by Twiggy. Keep eyeshadow light and basic to emphasis those luscious long lashes!

"DRAWING THE LINE":

I love "drawing a line" under some things in life- but nothing looks better than drawing lines with shimmery eye color! Just take a similar range of comfortably suited colors - ie pinks and purples and draw flicks downwards from the outer eye. This works better on one eye if you are going for a bold look on a night out.

&& My favorite: "Leopard Print"

I first figured out how to achieve this look a few years back and have rocked it many times! Definatley a talking point! & it is so SO simple to achieve!

1. Make sure the eyelid and surronding eye area is free from any oil or make-up.
2. Sweep a beige/light brown shadow over the eye area.
3. In the past I have applied a liquid glitter gel on top of the beige shadow to add some extra glitz!
4. Using liquid eyeliner (or a matchstick dipped in liner) simply draw 2 x "Kissing Cs" on to the eye.
The "Kissing C" is basically a "C" with a mirror image of itself next to it- as if they were kissing, for example "( ) " (ok its hard to find a backwards "c" on the laptop, so im having to use a "(" instead- but you get the jist!"
5. Repeat this all over the eyelid, even extending it towards the cheek for extra RAWRRR! once you get used to the "( ) " technique it will be soo much easier! alternate the "( ) " for a more realistic effect.
